I always enjoy a K.J. Charles novel and The Doomsdeay Books series is very promising. The Secret Lives of Country Gentlemen is a fast moving mystery centered around a smuggling ring, and the romance is very sweet. Martyn Swain is a new narrator to me, and they do a marvelous job with The Secret Lives of Country Gentlemen! Swain totally gets Charles' clever sense of humor, and they do a great job with these characters.

Amazing story, amazing audio performance by new-to-me Martyn Swain. KJ Charles never disappoints. If you liked her Society of Gentlemen books I think you will enjoy this one, too.
