I am Baldwin the 4th, the Leper King of Jerusalem

A mask is my friend and protector,

Hiding my condition behind a veil of enchantment,

I can't bear an heir, but I'll give my life for my kingdom,

I am a leper. I should be at the leper's colony at St Lazarus's,

But my people need me, so I am here fighting as their king.

I won my greatest battle at sixteen with half my men.

It was against Saladin I will never do better in battle.
