About this audiobook

In this “decadent” thriller, a Hollywood heartthrob and his ex-wife shoot a blockbuster film on an isolated island–soon finding themselves trapped with each other’s long-buried secrets and lies (Emily Henry, NYT bestselling author of Book Lovers).

Summer is heating up, and some of Hollywood's most notorious players are assembled on the Caribbean island of St. Genesius to film The Siren, starring dangerously handsome megastar Cole Power playing opposite his ex-wife, Stella Rivers. The film promises to be a hit with its steamy storyline and superstar cast.

Stella, an infamously unstable actress, is struggling to reclaim the career she lost in the wake of several public breakdowns.
Taylor, a fledgling producer, is anxious to work on a film she hopes will turn her career around after her last job ended in scandal.
And Felicity, Stella's mysterious new assistant, harbors plans of her own that threaten to upend everyone's plans.

When a hurricane traps them on the island, the women find themselves united against a common enemy. But as deceptions come to light, misplaced trust may prove more perilous than the storm itself.

OMG! Did that just happen? I swear that this is my most anticipating read for 2021, and it didn't disappoint! The book is a mix of everything I love; drama, suspense, thriller, a bit of love story, and mystery. It was a bit slow initially, but once it picked up, I never wanted it to end! Told in multiple POVs, we have Stella, an actress who, like many celebrities, went through substance abuse and wants to prove herself that those times are behind her, Felicity is Stella’s assistant and appears to be very mysterious, and there’s Taylor, the producer who also has an intriguing past. All three women are admirable in their own separate way. I love the multiple POVs because it bounces back and forth between past and present, and it gives the story a solid background and helps me understand the characters even more. Katherine is very imaginative when setting the plot on her books, as this one is also astonishing. The Caribbean island, the movie-making, intriguing characters, and tons of secrets and lies! If you’re into an attention-grabbing, spine-tingling, and many “whoa” kind of read, pick this up!
