Max Byrd is the author of bestselling historical novels about Ulysses Grant, Thomas Jefferson, and Andrew Jackson. He won the Shamus Award for his mystery novel California Thriller. His other widely reviewed novels include Shooting the Sun and The Paris Deadline.
Shawn Compton is a professional voice actor and audiobook narrator. He is also a seventeen-year veteran of the Air Force, and has a strong creative background from which to draw inspiration for his narration.
