I enjoyed this book. I liked the characters and I liked how they were both struggling with personal issues that seemed to balance each other. Adelyn was delightful and Leo was really a grump. Each has their strengths tempered with shortfalls but together they balanced and healed each other. I loved how there was a whole lot of chemistry between them but also they were realistic and honest about what they wanted and needed.They faced challenges, made tough decisions and chose each other.

This is the eighth story in the "Etherya’s Earth" series. This is a paranormal romance with forced proximity. The story is about Adelyn and Leo. He is the son of Kilani and Alrec who were featured in "Dawn of Peace". Leo is grumpy and chooses to live in solitude and away from others. Adelyn is on a mission but ends up with the grumpy man in his cabin. This is a short and quick read/listen. Story develops nicely and I really like the characters, romance and steamy bits.

I loved this grumpy love story!! There was something a smidge different about this one that I enjoyed so much! I love that it wasn't insta-love and that they were insta-together. I enjoyed that he had to fight with himself first then for her. It was refreshing! Her boldness to stand firm and find her birth family was empowering and sweet! What I didn't like is the whole Mine thing and the F bombs. *I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook from the author via Story Origin.
