McCall Smith won the prestigious The Dagger in the Library Award in 2004, an award bestowed by the Crime Writers' Association.
James Rottger is an actor and voice artist. Originally from the East Coast of Scotland, James trained at Queen Margaret University College in Edinburgh, graduating with a BA in Acting and performance in 2011. James can be heard on BBC Sounds Radio 4’s The Raiders. Notable film and TV roles include Much Ado About Christmas, The Lost King, Our Ladies and Irish Wish on Netflix alongside Ed Speleers and Lindsay Lohan.
