About this audiobook

Del is moving up.

One of the problems with life in the asteroid belt, though, is that “up” depends a lot on your point of view.

She’s built a good life for herself out here, balancing her job as an Enforcer of what passes for the Belt’s laws, with her extra activities that the rest of the Enforcers can never find out about.

But when the voices that plagued her childhood come back, she fails to prevent a terrorist attack, and her best friend is assigned to the investigation, all her secrets threaten to come out and her good life begins to unravel.

About the author

Pat Luther is a Portland native currently living in Eugene, Oregon. He has been a pizza boy, a Kelly girl, a corporate propagandist, and both a purveyor and debunker of conspiracy theories. In previous jobs, he once helped save the world (you're welcome), learned how to launder money and finance terrorists (didn't actually do either one, officer), and programmed satellites and police databases. He lost one job because the project was shut down by the EFF, and another because Bill Clinton said the wrong thing to an Iranian official. On his Mars One application he pointed out that he once spent three weeks in a Subaru with five people and was still friends with them all. He was eliminated in the first round. He has volunteered with archaeologists where, in addition to sifting dirt and flying drones, he has evaded poisonous snakes, crossed a pit on a precarious bridge, and once dodged a giant boulder. The boulder wasn't actually moving at the time, but it was still a close call.Thoughtless is his second published novel. Deborah Reeves is a voice actor and narrator. In addition to audiobooks, she has lent her voice to commercials, animations and cartoons, video games, and more. An actor all her life, she got her professional start as an audio engineer with a focus on voice over production. This background has allowed her to take on projects as both a voice talent and audio engineer. In her spare time, Deborah enjoys being with her husband and their two small rescue dogs. She plays guitar and sings, preferring rock, punk, and alternative music. Her husband plays the drums and they performed live together at their wedding, forgoing the traditional first dance. They even brought her father on-stage for a song. To learn more about Deborah, hear her work, or get in contact, visit her website at deborahreevesvoiceover.com
