A filthy rich princess and a hardworking bartender forced to work together in a small town. SIGN ME UP! I'm a hardcore fan of Davney Perry's books and every single one she releases I love. With Tinsel was no different! The story is amazing! Dakota is a simple man with big dreams. He's working hard to achieve his goals, going against what his family had planned for him his whole life. Sofia is lost after a reality check. She's in Lark Cove to lick her wounds, and, apparently, to work her way to a better person. Her babysitter? Oh, that'll be Dakota. He's not happy about it, but Sofia is too beautiful and sweet to just ignore. Just trust me and read it!

Devney Perry has done it again! Sofia is the spoiled rich youngest daughter. She feels neglected by her family and makes a big mistake in the press. So she runs to Logan, her big brother, and his wife, Thia, comes to the rescue as her fairy godmother. Except in this version, she is put to work at a bar in Lark Cove. Thia decides on a last minute trip to Paris with her family right before New Years Eve. Dakota is enlisted as Sofia's babysitter. Except he is everything she is running from. He is driven to succeed. He has left the reservation and is trying to succeed to prove to his family that there is another way than the way they want for him. Can these two overcome the many obstacles in their path to get their happily ever after? This is a must read! As is every book that Devney writes! 5 amazing stars

5 brilliant stars! Review by Nancy Late Night Reviewer Up All Night w/ Books Blog An all-consuming, heart melting, sweep you off your feet romance. Tinsel by Devney Perry is absolutely phenomenal! The fourth and final book in the Lark Cove series, Tinsel can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the entire series in order. You will love the book that much more! If you read any of the previous books then you went into this book like I did, strongly disliking Sofia Kendrick. Sofia has everything and anything she could possibly want. She is a princess and lives up to the name. Shallow and superficial, never really aspiring to do anything until her world gets turned on its axis. After her flaws are spread in a magazine for everyone to see, Sofia runs away to hide out in Lark Cove with her brother and sister-in-law, not knowing who she is or what she wants out of life. She is the definition of the saying— money doesn’t buy you happiness. I wasn’t sure there was a redeemable quality in Sofia but the more I read the more I felt for her. Little by little she won me over. I kept rooting for her to find happiness and live the life she was destined for. Dakota Magee, swoon, isn’t just the hot bartender in Lark Cove, he is so much more. I think I fell in love with Dakota the moment I started the book. Dakota is everything you would want in a partner— he is strong, hardworking, sweet and caring. Struggling with his family and the life they want him to live, he is torn between finding his happiness and making his family proud. Growing up in a reservation, there were certain expectations from him, like finding a wife from the reservation and not an outsider like Sofia. The woman he is currently stuck babysitting. Dakota had already disappointed his family once, the moment he walked out of the reservation. Was he willing to give up his family to chase a romance that might not even work? This book gave me all the feels! Dakota is probably my favorite hero in the Lark Cove series. He made this story come to life. Dakota and Sofia had so much going against them. This book is about two very different people fighting for a love they found in each other. A love that wasn’t defined by social status and different backgrounds. I rooted so hard for these two. I wanted to see them make a life together.and was so happy to see them find their happily ever after! Devney Perry did not miss a beat with this book. I am so sad to leave these characters but I am looking forward to re-reads in the near future!
