Prize-winning author Mark Roberts has been writing for over 20 years. Born in Liverpool, Mark trained as a teacher and still lives and works in the city, teaching creative writing and working with autistic children in one of the city's schools. His wide-ranging work includes drama and poetry.

He has appeared in television dramas such as Something in the Air, Stingers and The Flying Doctors, and his film credits include Road to Alice, Escape from Absolom and The Wayfarers.
