A few months short of his sixteenth birthday Danny runs away from home after a huge row with his mum. After only four hours everything he owns is stolen at a motorway service station. Prize-winning author Mark Roberts has been writing for over 20 years. Born in Liverpool, Mark trained as a teacher and still lives and works in the city, teaching creative writing and working with autistic children in one of the city's schools. His wide-ranging work includes drama and poetry.

Colin Moody's acting credits extend across the theatre stage, small screen and silver screen. Assuming leading roles in numerous productions for companies such as the Sydney Theatre Company and the Melbourne Theatre Company, his theatre work includes Cruel and Tender, The Crucible, Great Expectations and Angels in America. He has appeared in television dramas such as Something in the Air, Stingers and The Flying Doctors, and his film credits include Road to Alice, Escape from Absolom and The Wayfarers.
