About the author
Tracy Daugherty is Distinguished Professor of English and Creative Writing, Emeritus, at Oregon State University. His work includes biographies of Joan Didion, Joseph Heller, and Donald Barthelme, five novels, six short story collections, a book of personal essays, and a collection of essays on literature and writing.
Gabriel Vaughan is an Audie Award-winning narrator and classically trained actor. A founding member of the Tennessee Shakespeare Company, he co-owns Little Town Studios together with his wife and fellow narrator, Piper Goodeve. He has a BA from Sarah Lawrence College and studied acting in London.
