D. J. Bodden is a writer and veteran Marine Corps pilot, currently working out of Geneva, Switzerland, for a commodities firm. He is the author of the Black Year series and the Viridian Gate Online series.

Writer James Hunter is a former Marine Corps Sergeant, combat veteran, and pirate hunter. He's been a missionary and international aid worker in Bangkok, Thailand, and is a member of The Royal Order of the Shellback. James is the author of the Viridian Gate Archives series.
