Assassin Lane Palmer, alias "The Hawk," works both as Special FBI Agent and as The Hawk for the shadow agency Counter Force. Now Palmer is charged with guarding the life of an unusual high school athlete, Rodney Marcus. At first the youth thinks he's losing his mind, but then one of the voices materializes as either an angel or alien foretelling the future.
