Dan MacDorman offers a murder-mystery masterclass with "West Heart Kill." The novel leads the reader while simultaneously challenging them to play detective. Characters quickly became unique and memorable, as did the story's setting. I own both the hard cover as well as the audio book and will say that although the narrator did a wonderful job, some sections seem better suited to a physical copy.
