Valentine Denning is a young American photojournalist on the frontlines in Pec, Kosovo, where she and her two colleagues – British Tony Hampton and American Jake Newberg – are covering the war. Barbara Taylor Bradford was born and raised in England. She started her writing career on the Yorkshire Evening Post and later worked as a journalist in London.
