Max Dann is the author of many books, including Bernice Knows Best, which won the Children's Book Council of Australia Book of the Year Award for Junior Fiction. Max has also written scripts for films and for the television shows Fast Forward and Sea Change.

Alan is an Australian actor and filmmaker, who has been working professionally in television, theatre and film for over 25 years. His work has been awarded both locally and internationally. A well-known voice on Australian radio and television, Alan has narrated over 70 unabridged audiobook titles. When he gets the time, Alan loves to paint and his work has been exhibited at various galleries and art spaces around Melbourne, including the Victorian College of the Arts where he completed his Bachelor of Fine Art in 2006.
