About this audiobook

XOXO, Valentina is the second book in the Blue Ridge Book Club series. If you enjoyed Love, Lacey Donovan, you are going to love XOXO, Valentina.

He’s the hot new Spanish teacher.

I’m the principal.

That spells trouble with a capital T.

I never thought I would be interested in a man again. Between herding a teenager toward manhood and running the highest-ranking elementary school in Azalea County, I don't have time for anything more than a fictional book boyfriend.

Then, Mr. Morales strolled down my hall and hola’d his way straight to my heart.

Work used to be my sanctuary. Now, every day is sweet torture.

I can’t lead a staff meeting without picturing him naked. One smile renders me speechless. I’m swooning in the halls, and it’s not because one of the students brought tuna fish for lunch.

I may be hot for teacher, but I’ll never have another man in my life.

Especially one like Mr. Morales who’s more trouble than he’s worth.

I really like this book. The chemistry between Gabby and Joey/Fernando is so explosive. The steam in this book is extra. The accent of the narrator is such a turn on. I like the longing and romance of the two. I like all the characters, Joey is book boyfriend worthy. The narrators did such a great job with the characters. The narrators are new to me but I like them a lot. Jill Brashear is such a good writer, I will have to listen to the first book in this series.

Jill Brashear is a new to me author and I’m so thrilled I got the opportunity to give this one a listen. I really enjoyed both Gabriella and Joey. Gabi was a smart woman , successful in her career, a great mom and had a good support system. Losing her husband so young and so early on in their marriage really affected her views on relationships, but it was so good to see her slowly opening her self up. Joey respected her feeling about her husband and really let her set the tone of their relationship. He was just so sweet and kind and swoony I kind of fell for him myself. This book is a hidden gem of spicy romance. The characters were great and relatable, Joey and Gabi had fantastic chemistry with witty dialog and banter. It was funny, sexy, steamy, sweet and filled with the charm that makes romance novels so so good. Samantha Cook and Gregory Salinas did wonderful work narrating this book especially with Joey’s accent that was down right sexy to listen to from both of them
