Author Misty Black enjoys picture books as much as her children do, if not more! Why? Because a good book can take you anywhere in the world! (no need to get out of bed!)? When she's not busy winning her kids at board games or ignoring the garden weeds, Misty enjoys thinking of new ways picture books can be enjoyed. She writes books that can be given as presents, much like a greeting card or flowers for a sick friend. Writing about topics that translate to children and adults both, Misty is passionate about helping children express and understand love.Misty has a degree in finance. While she loves the business world, her passion is writing and publishing children's books. She has been winning awards for writing since fifth grade. She enjoys reading, playing board games, gardening, and spending time with her husband and 3 children. She would someday love to travel the world.
