Zekel

Zekel is the new action-packed YA monster-slaying fantasy from LP Cowling, that follows a high-ranking guildmember and renowned rogue, as he buys his way through life slaying one beastie after another.

Brought to infamy following the defeat of a guildmember gone rogue that attempted to bring to life a god of destruction, Zekel now finds himself in the middle of civil unrest that threatens to tear his livelihood apart. But in the meantime, the troubles of the world go on, and Zekel tries to make as much money as possible before the institution he serves, is torn apart at the seams.

One week the public mood is threatening to destroy the guild, for the fear of their magical members upsetting their peaceful lives. The next week the public mood is that magic is of such a necessity for quality of life, that even the mention of outlawing magic would be madness and chaos.
