About the author
Lindy Miller Ryan is an award-winning author-editor, director, and professor at Rutgers University. She is the founder of Black Spot Books, a small press with a mission to amplify the voices of women-in-horror, where she currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Independent Book Publishers Association and is the co-chair of the Horror Writers Association Publishers Council. She was named one of Publishers Weekly’s 2020 Star Watch Honorees.
Christina Henry is a horror and dark fantasy author whose works include The Ghost Tree, Looking Glass, The Girl in Red, The Mermaid, Lost Boy, Alice, Red Queen, and the seven book urban fantasy Black Wings series. She enjoys running long distances, reading anything she can get her hands on and watching movies with samurai, zombies and/or subtitles in her spare time. She lives in Chicago with her husband and son.
In Kimberly M. Wetherell's storied thirty-year career in the arts, she has been an actor, an opera and film director/producer, a published essayist, the founder and host of several NYC reading series, and, on a brief hiatus from "the biz," a professional boozy baker and restaurateur. Her bright, youthful sound, coupled with her wide-ranging and varied life experiences, brings nuance and depth to her audiobook narration.
Mikhaila Aaseng is an in-demand narrator with a background in film and stage acting.
Smart, smooth, and multifaceted, Zura Johnson is a narrator, artist, and Lego enthusiast. Zura began her journey toward the world of storytelling at the age of five, when she memorized the entirety of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. She proceeded to recite them in their entirety to her family on a road trip... at which time her exasperated parents enrolled her in theater classes. Zura received her BS in theater performance, with a minor in Russian language and culture from the University of Evansville. She continued on to receive her MFA from The Old Globe Advanced Training Program/University of San Diego. After graduation she signed with her first voice-over agency in NYC, Arcieri & Associates. Shortly after that, she moved to the Philadelphia area, where she continued to perform on stage, and she began to book local and regional voice-over work. Zura's voice-over career took off after her family was transferred to Singapore for her husband's work. She worked with numerous studios in Singapore, recording projects for local and international clients from China to Australia. Some of the highlights for Zura were her extensive work with SAP, recording her first NatGeo documentary for NatGeo Asia. Zura has always been a storyteller. And throughout her training, she has focused a great deal of energy on her vocal work. As she began her journey with books on tape, narrating audiobooks feels like coming home. When Zura is not recording audiobooks, her greatest loves are traveling, making her kids laugh, and pen and ink drawing.
Angela Lin, an Earphones Award–winning audiobook narrator, graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA degree in drama. A critically acclaimed actress, her credits include The Good Wife, Law & Order: SVU, and As the World Turns, among others.
Chante McCormick is a Los Angeles-based actress and AudioFile Earphones Award-winning narrator who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in speech from Northwestern University's famed theater department. She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors Equity Association.
Betsy Foldes-Meiman is a voice talent and Earphones Award–winning narrator.
Rachel L. Jacobs is an experienced actor, singer, and voice artist based in Los Angeles. She received her BA in theater from Oberlin and did intensive studies with the American Conservatory Theatre, the National Theater Institute, and Shakespeare & Company. A former resident performer with the California Theatre Center, she has dubbed live-action shows, voiced characters for cartoons, and narrated numerous audiobook titles.
