1929, historical-research, historical-fiction, husband-and-wife-team, sleuth, extortion, France, investigation, suspense, car-chase***** This time it's a con game afoot. Starts out sounding all too classic, slips into a bit farcical, then moves on to something new and even fun. A bit Nick (except that he's British service) and Nora (except that her past is as an American agent) in 1929. It's a romp, fun, and a great story. Loved it! Nathaniel Parker brings the characters alive and adds to the suspense!
