About the author

Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, M. J. Fievre moved to the United States in 2002. She currently writes from Miami. M. J.'s publishing career began as a teenager in Haiti. At nineteen-years-old, she signed her first book contract and has authored several books since then, including Black and Resilient and Badass Black Girl.

Becca Anderson is an author, teacher, and writing instructor living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Originally from Ohio, Becca's background in women's studies has given her a lifelong passion for empowering women through their own herstory.

Julienne Irons loves all things true crime but has a knack for creating fun voices, which makes her a great choice for children's books and adult novels. With training from Tisch School of the Arts and various prestigious acting studios, she can bring any story to life and truly enjoys the work she's so honored to create.
