About this audiobook

Miles Pussett is a former steeplechase jockey but he now gets his adrenalin rush from hurling himself, head first, down the Cresta Run, a three-quarter-mile long Swiss ice chute, reaching speeds of up to 80 miles per hour. Finding himself in St Moritz during the same weekend as White Turf, when high-class horse racing takes place on the frozen lake, Miles gets talked into helping out with the horses. It is against his better judgement. Seven years before, he left horseracing behind and swore he would never return. When he discovers something suspicious is going on in the races, something that may have a profound impact on his future life, Miles begins to search for answers. But someone is determined to stop him – and they’ll go to any lengths to do it ...

About the author

Born in 1953, Felix studied physics and electronics at London University and then embarked on a 17-year career teaching advanced level physics. Felix is the youngest son of Dick Francis, who was acclaimed as one of the greatest thriller writers in the world. Felix had assisted Dick with both the research and the writing of many of his novels over the past 40 years, and when Dick died, he wanted his legacy to live on through his son. Felix has taken over the literary reigns from his father and has since written eleven successful Dick Francis books.

Martin Jarvis, OBE, is an English actor and voice performer. He has had a distinguished career in just about every aspect of the entertainment industry: film, television, theatre, radio and audio recording. He is also the author of two bestselling books: Acting Strangely, a hilarious autobiography, and Broadway, Jeeves?: The Diary of a Theatrical Adventure, a compelling account of his award-winning time on Broadway in 2001.
