This is the first thing which should be on the list of any would-be grower. Numero Uno. It is such a valuable resource, which you will refer to again and again. The way it is laid out, with each chapter dedicated to each aspect of growing, the great photos and diagrams, the way Jorge explains his craft in a way which is accessible to novice and intermediate growers alike makes this one of the best twenty quid purchases you can make. Supplement the content here with lots of YouTube watching and you're onto a winner.

Of course the title says it all, practical advice for the "medical" grower or otherwise. However, also provides much practical advice for any type of indoor horticulture whether it be chile peppers, tomatoes, etc..., though this is not stated in the book. Well organized, written in a clear, succinct prose w/ a modicum of real world advice and at times humor. Whatever one thinks of the evil herb worth a read especially pertaining to responsible use of herbicides, pesticides and the like that is of great use for many of those who want to go low impact and/or organic.
