Lost a star only because the narrators voice was not great (which is a key point for an audio book), had to battle myself to continue to get used to it. Wish Chris Voss narrated it himself.

Very good book, lots of great advice sandwiched between rather long / tedious anecdotes - would like to revisit a filtered version one day. Enjoyed the narrator too.

great i used his advise very successfully to negotiate a recent sofa and dining table purchase from the losted price of $4000 to 3300 so pretty happy this $14 investment has paid back with interests

About the author

Chris Voss spent 24 years working for the FBI, culminating in him becoming the bureau's lead international hostage negotiator. In 2007 he left the organisation and, realising that the skills he had acquired were more widely applicable, began teaching negotiation skills at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business. He has also taught courses at Harvard Law School and is the head of the Black Swan Group, a consulting firm that leads businesses through difficult negotiations.
