I'm not sure there is a better way to absorb this book than to listen to Lauren Graham's recount of her own experiences. It's touching, but exceedingly humorous in some of the most unpredictable ways. I have been and will very much remain a fan of hers and will be recommending this book to anyone who will listen. So go read it and, more so, go listen to her read it/tell it to you.

Lauren Graham At Her BEST!!!! This book is written with whismy, love, intelligence, & from the heart. I love all her books, speeches, videos, movies, tv series, & more. She is a role model, the mother we all wanted, the woman we aspire to be, the best friend we long for, half of an epic love story we just can't get enough of, the boss business lady we admire, the neighbor we wish we had, & one incredible story teller. Bringing her fast talking, charismatic, whimsical, heartfelt stories to life!!
