Ich habe den ersten Band der Iskari Trilogie geliebt und konnte den zweiten daher kaum abwarten. Der Beginn des Buchs war auch wie erwartet gut... aber mit der Zeit wurde die Geschichte immer mühsamer und mühsamer. Irgendwann in der Mitte des Buches begann ich mich dann nur noch über die Entscheidungen von Roa zu wundern und ertappte mich immer wieder wie ich den Kopf schüttelte und dachte "Mädchen, warum REDEST du nicht einfach mit Dax!?" Meine Lust, das Buch zu beenden wurde immer kleiner, die Story sprach mich überhaupt nicht mehr an. Ich habe es dann trotzdem zu Ende gelesen/gehört, aber, naja, es war höchstens noch "okay".
