Rebecca Soffer is the cofounder of Modern Loss, which offers encouraging, creative, and keeping-it-real content and community addressing the long arc of grief. She also coauthored the book Modern Loss: Candid Conversation about Grief. Beginners Welcome. and is an internationally recognized speaker on loss and resilience. Her work has been widely published with outlets including the New York Times, Glamour, Marie Claire, NBC, CNN, and more. She is a Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism alumna and a former producer for the Peabody Award–winning The Colbert Report. Rebecca lives in New York City and the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts with her husband and two children
