Most of this book states the obvious or makes jokes that are not funny at the expense of actual content. If you wanted to learn about tricky concepts like edge, denoms, detail on different features of slots then this is not your book. I really wish I hadn't bought this book but this is the only audiobook on the subject of casinos and how they work. There is no accompanying pdf for the multiple charts and tables. I don't recommend this book if you wanted to know anything you can't find out in the first 10 minutes of being in a casino.

Swain Scheps is a technology veteran whose writing has also appeared in Fodor's travel guide books, military history magazines, and another For Dummies book.
