About this audiobook

The desert planet Arrakis, called Dune, has been destroyed. Now, the Bene Gesserit, heirs to Dune's power, have colonized a green world—and are tuning it into a desert, mile by scorched mile.

Chapterhouse Dune is the last book Frank Herbert wrote before his death: A stunning climax to the epic Dune legend that will live on forever.

This book was definitely the worst of the 6 Dune books. It was 400 of 603 pages of useless gabbing. Also, two issues with the audio book. 1. Chapter 12 skipping from timestamp 3:39 to 4:00 Chapter 12 from 3:39 to 4:00 minutes, there is a terrible audio splice or edit that skips between sentences. It is a repeating error, definitely not my phone or an error with the download. Here's the exact paragraph that is messed up... "It was the absence of melange that plagued her most. She had begun to feel the first withdrawal pains that morning. I shall have to kill myself soon. The Lampadas horde pleaded for her to endure. Be brave. What if that wild Reverend Mother fails us? Spider Queen. That is what Odrade calls this woman. Great Honored Matre continued to study her, hand to chin." 2. Chapter 48 at 4:43 minutes Chapter 48 repeats again at 4:43 minutes. This is a repeating error that is definitely not an issue with my phone or file download, but the publisher's mistake.
