Jacqueline Wilson is a hugely successful children’s author and has won a number of prestigious awards, including the British Children's Book of the Year and the Guardian Children's Fiction Award. In 2002 Jacqueline received an OBE for services to literacy in schools. She was the highest-borrowed author in British libraries in the last decade.
Brigit Forsyth is an actress, known for Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads?, The Likely Lads and Sharon and Elsie. After leaving school, Brigit trained as a secretary, before enrolling at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, where she won the Emile Littler Award. She then joined various repertory companies, including Lincoln, Edinburgh, Salisbury, Cheltenham, Hornchurch and Watford.
