Robert Cowley is the editor of What If?™, No End Save Victory: Perspectives on World War II and With My Face to the Enemy: Perspectives on the Civil War, and the founding editor of MHQ: The Quarterly Journal of Military History, which was nominated for a National Magazine Award for General Excellence. Cowley, who has held several senior positions in book and magazine publishing, lives in Connecticut.
