About the author
胡燕青，香港基督徒寫作人。祖籍廣東中山，五十年代生於廣州，八歲往港定居。在香港接受教育，畢業於伊利沙伯中學及香港大學文學院，主修中文和比較文學。曾任香港浸會大學語文中心副教授，設計並教授語文及創作科目。二○一四年退休。中學開始寫作，作品包括新詩、散文、小說、少年兒童文學及閱讀隨筆等，後亦從事翻譯工作。作品包括《摺頁》、《木芙蓉》等詩集，《好心人》、《過程》等小說集，《一米四八》、《野地果》等中篇少年小說，長篇小說《小時代》。散文則有《彩店》、《蝦子香》、《長椅的兩頭》等十數集。文學創作超過五十種。
