About the author

楊昌溪（1902-1976）

四川省仁壽縣人。民國初年著名作家、翻譯家、學者，是中國研究黑人文學的先驅。畢業於瀘縣川南聯合縣立師範學校、聖約翰大學，曾短期留學日本。抗戰前後任《貴州日報》總編輯、《幸福報》主編。著有《三條血痕》、《給愛的》等文學作品，以及學術著作《黑人文學》等。翻譯著述無數。
