About the author
저자 - 현진건 소설가, 언론인 호는 빙허(憑虛). 1900년 대구 출생 1943년 장결핵으로 사망 근대 단편소설의 기반 마련과 사실주의 문학을 개척하였다. 주요 작품으로 『빈처』, 『술 권하는 사회』, 『타락자』, 『운수 좋은 날』, 『B사감과 러브레터』 등의 단편소설과 『적도』, 『무영탑』 등의 장편소설이 있다.
