This is the second book in the Vonnie Vines mystery series. I recommend you read the first book. They are set in Pelican Bay so if you've read the Security series you'll recognize a lot of the crazy, quirky characters. Vonnie's at it again. She's a busy lady with crimes to solve, a mobsters psycho cat to watch while he's away and decisions to make on forgiving her ex. Expect all the craziness Pelican Bay has to offer. The author never fails to make me laugh. I struggle with depression and her books are always my favorite go to when I am in need of a laugh. I enjoy reading about Vonnie's funny mishaps and shenanigans. But, I love even more how Broaderick is just such a quiet sentinel, standing guard and assuring Vonnie is safe and cared for and happy. Pelican Bay is it's usual quirky self. I am ready for the next installment. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

There are so many twists and turns in this story that keep you guessing until the end. There are some real laugh out loud moments as well. Entertaining characters in the story. There is a new clue to follow as you gather them up to figure out who done it. Good read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
