关于此电子书

Born in an accomplished, royal family of North India, Mr. Bali’s genius landed him in England. After finishing his Engineering, and his very successful stints in sports and flying planes, the idea of going back to his homeland India by road, gripped him so much, that he ventured all alone with his sweetheart- Volkswagen Beetle….

No GPS, Untarred Roads and the inhospitable desert, all impediments against his steely resolve...

His greatest challenge was to cross Pakistan without a visa…..this proved to be the crucial climax……and put all his wits to greatest degree of test…..could he actually make it?

once you start this journey, it is hard to let go of the gripping stories that also give a glimpse of his huge persona.

作者简介

The writer of this Travelogue, Mr. Madan Gopal Bali, originally belonged to a reputed family of Daryabad, India. His genius took him to UK at an early age where he worked very hard to become a Telecom Engineer. He scored high in adapting to his new student life in UK. He then worked for GEC there and spent a good 10 years in Liverpool & Coventry. Apart from being a good student, he used to be a good Cricket & Chess player, a pilot, an artist, an avid music lover and much more.

His first idea of coming to India was by plane. But that did not turn out to be a very practical suggestion, so he dropped it and decided to make the trip by car. He chose Beetle by Volkeswagen to be his carrier to India. In the absence of a compatible partner to accompany him on his trip, he eventually started alone. On the way into this very happening and adventurous journey, he made two friends who joined him.
