This book is essentially a brief history of Spotify. It comes complete with detailed figures and stats and is concise and engaging. The (brief) analysis of whether Spotify's business model is viable raised more questions than it answered but was interesting nonetheless. While the author acknowledges that the streaming model does not currently adequately compensate artists, they do not propose much in the way of solutions. I would recommend this ebook.
