Jean Thomas was a teacher before she left the classroom to write full-time. She is the author of twenty-four contemporary and historical romances, most of them as Jean Barrett. A longtime member of Romance Writers of America, she won the national Booksellers' Best Award and twice won the national Write Touch Readers' Award.
