Scott’s devoted his life to being a strong, responsible, hard working cowboy who does the right thing no matter how tough, but when he comes face to face with his ugly past, he fears he’ll lose what he’s just discovered he can’t live without.

Award winning author Michelle Beattie was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and raised on her grandfather's homestead near Beaumont, Alberta. She didn't fall in love with reading until after high school and then turned to historical romances, mostly westerns, for her romance fix. If you ask her why westerns, she'll say it's because of the chivalry. Of course men in boots and cowboy hats didn't hurt either!
