A Devil in the Dark is set in the real world with supernatural elements, aka magical realism. The story features plenty of humour and a morally grey hero, and can be read as a standalone—no cliffhanger!

Humour and intrigue brilliantly written It doesn't matter what genre Elise writes, she always produces an exciting plot, with lots of twists and turns, with lovable characters. This time it is devils, vampires, and more. Elise makes anything seem possible.

How do you explain to the woman you love that you are the king of the underworld? At least Wren can’t say he is just like every other man she knows! Lucian Blane is handsome, considerate, and helpful – and capable of stealing not just her heart, but her soul. Which one will it be? This is a fun story for those who can keep an open mind to some other-worldly entertainment. Ms. Noble’s humorous and imaginative writing style really shines in this one!

Very interesting take on the underworld, vampires and werewolves. A love story between the lord of the underworld and a mortal. Cannot wait for the next instalment.
