After their parents die, Leslie Mackenzie and her two siblings are taken in by their Auntie Peg. Leslie accepts a position at the Grand Forest, little dreaming what fate has in store for her there...For whilst in many ways it is her dream job, strict rules govern the behaviour of all Grand Forest's employees and staff are forbidden from mixing with guests. But then Leslie meets Christopher Meredith and falls in love...
