A.J. Pine took every stereotype attributed to a man and gave it a pretty face. Sometimes a sister needs a little wicked in her life. After focusing on her career for so long Holly needs a little fun in her life. Enter studly British drink of water Will and more than her career is on the line. Six Month Rule is eye- opening, sexy and so much fun. Who knew a little fun could lead to forever. I thought Ms. Pine did a great job of allowing the reader to fall in love with this unconventional romance.

Another amazing visit to The Kingston Ale House! While this is book two in the series, it can definitely be read as a standalone. Holly Chandler is a career-focused fashionista. She has her sights set on a partnership at Trousseau. In order to achieve the goals she has set for herself, she has a six-month rule when it comes to dating. No relationship past the six-month mark when the "honeymoon period" typically ends. On the day she thinks she'll finally be named partner, she's informed that she needs to work a big international project with Will Evans to prove that she's ready. Will Evans only has to work one more publicity project before his bosses have promised him some much needed time off. Nothing will get in the way of his goal of getting this show done perfectly in the next six months so he can go home to his family in England. Will has no intention of starting anything that will make him like his time in the States but he didn't count on meeting Holly. I loved absolutely everything about this story. Will and Holly's banter had me cracking up so much. Will is dedicated to learning from his mistakes and flies back and forth to England every weekend to see his daughter. This showed such a dedication to being a good parent that you don't typically see of fathers in books. I love the author's style of writing and the dual POV. I was drawn in to the story from the first page and couldn't put it down until I finished. I can't wait for the rest of the series! *I received a copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.*

This book was captivating from the very first page. Second in a series but easily read standalone. Holly Chandler lives for fashion! Right now she has no time for relationships so she has a rule. Six months of dating and no more. She is ambitious, focused, and determined to make partner at her job and the assignment she's just been given is going to make her! That is if she can work with the obnoxious Englishman Will Evans. It's clear he doesn't want to be here but his reasons why are unknown to Holly. All she knows is that for the next six months she has to play nice with him to get this show done and just maybe have a little fun along the way! Can they each walk away when the six months are done??? It's no secret I'm a huge AJ Pine fan but truly this is some of her finest work. It's hilarious, heartwarming, and very sexy. Give it a try, I highly recommend it.
