A line in the dark has my favorite things, queer rep and a dark atmosphere. I just wish I liked the characters. Which I suppose is the point, it just fell a bit short.

Jeeze these other reviews only talk about what the story is about. It was easy to imagine the scenes with the details, the interviews with the detectives remind me of when I was interviewed in high school (one word: pedophile). The characters are flawed and I consider that a compliment because absolutely nobody is perfect, we've all done some questionable things at some point. Overall it's a book full of jealousy
