About this ebook

When the world ends, you adapt or die.

Zookeeper Imogen is flying high. She loves her work caring for endangered Iberian Lynxes and a promotion is on the horizon. Then a colleague throws her under the bus and her entire life goes into free-fall.

Mike dropped out of college to raise his sisters. Now, twenty years later, it’s time to live for himself. First step of his new life: marry his girlfriend. But an unwelcome surprise derails his proposal, and the future he’s longed for slips from his grasp.

When the zombie apocalypse strikes, Imogen and Mike are trapped inside the zoo. If Imogen wants to protect her lynxes, she’ll have to adapt. If Mike wants to find his family, he needs to survive.

Together, they must find a way out of the zoo—before it becomes as deadly as the ravenous hordes beyond its fence.

Steel City Apocalypse is a sister series of The Undead Age zombie apocalypse adventure. If you like Jonathan Maberry (Rot & Ruin), Mira Grant (Feed, Parasite), and Mark Tufo (Zombie Fallout), you'll devour this gritty adventure.

Undead Menagerie is great! Everything I want in a zombie book: great characters I care about, a smart story, and fantastic action/suspense. The writing is top notch. The action in this story is unbelievably good, and sometimes I was so tense I started skimming ahead to make sure my favorites were still alive. Plus, they’re trapped in a zoo! I enjoyed seeing not just how they struggled to stay alive but how to take care of the animals. The ending packed a punch! I’m starting book two today.

this was a real page turner needing to find out what is going to happen next. it does end with a real cliff hanger that you will want to make sure you already have the next book ready to go. the characters are well written and you have no problem with feeling like you are right there with them, making sure to live the story instead of only reading it. I recommend any and all books produced by this author for an experience not just a time filler of a read.

Fantastic book! I loved A.M. Geever's Undead Age series and this sister series - same universe but different characters - doesn't disappoint. Do yourself a favor and read this book.

About the author

A.M. Geever is known for her action-packed post-apocalyptic and dystopian adventures. An avid reader of science fiction and fantasy from an early age, the only job she ever wanted-besides being a writer-was to be a Star Fleet Officer. She credits her love of all things post-apocalyptic to her older brothers, whose influence in books, music, and film continues to this day, although her tolerance for puns and movies that are "so bad they're good" is a whole lot lower than theirs. The idea of becoming a zombie because her car runs out of gas gets her to the gas station when she would rather not bother. Other apocalypses inspire good intentions to get up to speed on prepping but so far, all she's got is a bug out bag. Trained as a theologian, her work often explores the role of religious belief in post-apocalyptic/dystopian societies. Her award-winning debut series, The Undead Age, was released beginning in 2019. Steel City Apocalypse is the second series set in the Undead Age universe.Find out more about A.M. Geever at www.amgeever.com
