Absolutely gripping, an original idea executed with panache. This book explores the human psyche and is also a bloody (pun intended) good story that will keep you reading way into the night.

I can't really describe what exactly it is about this book - but it draws you in; irresistibly. And yet when I take a step back the style SHOULD irritate me - but it doesn't. No indeed. It stays with you - the story, the characters; wondering about them...

This book makes you want to skip ahead, desperate to know what happens. The book flits from one perspective to another sometimes without warning, it should be irritating but it works so well!
