Joanna (Jo) & West: Book 4 of King's Security: Undercover Fed & detective/ dirty cops/ married under false pretenses/ marriage in trouble/ second chance/ action-suspense-mystery romance: This was a great addition to a fantastic series. 4.25 stars. This story is dual POV, well written and edited, and a fast-paced, contemporary romantic suspense novel. I empathised with Joanna and appreciated her logical and careful assessment of her situation and the resolution she decided upon. I enjoyed her way of working and her dealings with West, even in a high stress situation. I enjoyed West’s genuine emotions toward Joanna, and appreciated his fear of losing her. I enjoyed the relationship development. I enjoyed the non-romance plot.
