After a spell goes awry and almost kills Alexia in her mother’s past, she now knows where she comes from. Flit, her grandfather, left her a cryptic message that lets her know Sera, her mother, is alive. The rest of her family is hidden, and he knows where they are. She will have to travel to the Dark Court to find those answers.
Not having any magic, or ability to control her shifting unless in times of great stress, makes things tricky. She is trying to learn and understand the rules of this world, unfortunately everyone she meets has an agenda. She may not know a lot and remembers even less, but she knows she doesn’t like to be controlled.
Her destined mate is a snake charmer named Blaise who keeps her at arm’s length in everything unless things are getting hot and heavy. Domini, a siren, is someone new and is the first person to be straight with her. Both men will be there at the Dark Court, and her animal half is all too thrilled with their proximity. Because one caress is never enough when they entice the fire within her.

Raquel Gabrielle resides in Oklahoma with her husband, dogs and cat. She grew up loving stories so much that she even made up her own tales. Writing has helped her and continues to do so. Writing has always been there for her and something she will always fall back to when things get tough.
