Flynn and Anna’s story in A Sprinkle of Spring by Melissa McClone, book four in her Silver Falls series, is an enjoyable, small town, opposites attract/enemies to friends story. Anna Kent is a pet groomer at the Doggie Day Care and best friends with the owner Callie. Anna and Flynn rub each other the wrong way. He is arrogant and left her to deal with the jack and jill baby shower alone, just throwing money at her to pay for it. But he does have a change of heart when she falls after he leaves her alone to clean up after it. I can understand wanting the best for your pets but Anna puts herself in a precarious situation with no health insurance. It was sweet how all four cats and the dog fell for Flynn even Milo the troublemaker.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading A Sprinkle of Spring. Flynn and Anna are great characters with layers of depth. Their romance definitely had some bumps along the way, but it just made their HEA that much sweeter. There's an epilogue so that you get to see how they're doing after some time has passed. I like Melissa McClone's writing style. It flows well making it easy to read. I would definitely read more from this author. I recommend this book to clean romance readers. I received an ARC.
