A String of Roses

Vijay Kumar is a retired Civil Servant. He has authored six books to date, both fiction and non-

fiction. His first novel, Beyond the Human Eye, handles the theme of a young man’s successful

quest for his biological parents. His story of the Indian Post Office titled From Mail to Email is an

authentic and fascinating account of an old institution. His last published work, The Birds of

Passage, a volume of twenty-two short stories, is a commentary on contemporary life.

Vijay Kumar stays in a village on the outskirts of Adoor, a small town in southern Kerala, India.
